| This reading was the Vancouver launch of Miki's book Surrender (The Mercury Press 2001), which won the Governor General's award in 2002. Miki also reads an excerpt from an essay, of which he says: “as i recall the brief ksw talk was drawing from a paper i first gave in kelowna, not long after 9/11. it's been revised and soon to be published in a special asian cdn issue of ECW (essays in cdn writing), apparently soon though i don't have a date. its title: "Global Drift: Thinking the Beyond of Identity Politics". |
