| Proprioception Books was for several years a crucial hub in the Vancouver poetry scene. Originally owned by Ralf Maud, it was sold to Lisa Robertson. Proprioception carried only books of poetry, theory and criticism. Its second home was in a room on the 7th floor of the Dominion Building. Pictured here is the stunning spiral staircase that runs down the building's centre.
