Lary Bremner (Timewell) was the editor of Tsunami Editions in its early years. Funding the press out of his own pocket, Bremner filled the need for a Vancouver press that was daring enough to take on the challenging early works that emerged from the younger poets associated with the KSW. As such, Tsunami Editions played a crucial role in the development of the KSW poetics and social networks. He eventually passed on editorship to Deanna Ferguson and Catriona Strang, who began producing full-length spiney trade-books with the support of other private donors, including Charles Bernstein, George Bowering, Colin Browne, Louis Cabri, Susan Clark, Peter Ganick, Robert Mittenthal, Fred Wah, Scott Watson, and Charles Watts – as listed in the inside cover of the first edition of Pause Button, the first Tsunami Editions book with a spine. Later books and chapbooks were edited and produced by Ferguson and Michael Barnholden.
